MINERAL ACID FOR ADJUSTING THE pH OF MINERAL NUTRIENT SOLUTIONS THAT MEET THE NF U 42-004 STANDARD.

Phosphoric acid 75%

pH Down is an effective 75% phosphorus pH corrector for nutrient solutions.

Its composition gives it great efficiency and stability both in the growth cycle and in flowering.

pH Down Ultra concentrated!

Usage :

Use to lower the pH of your nutrient solution. Once you have added your fertilizer and reached the desired EC value, measure the pH and add a few ml of pH Down solution to achieve the desired value. Always pour the acid into the water and not the other way around.

pH Down composition:

Orthophosphoric acid (H3PO4) = 75% Phosphoric anhydride (P2O5) = 54% Molarity = 11.8 M Density = 1.55

Danger of corrosion

1. Hazard statements (H-phrases):

• H314 – Causes serious skin damage and eye damage.
• H290 – May be corrosive to metals.
• H335 – May cause respiratory irritation.

2. Precautionary statements (P-phrases):

Prevention:

• P280 – Wear protective gloves, protective clothing, eye protection and face protection.
• P261 – Avoid breathing dust/vapours/mist.
• P264 – Wash hands thoroughly after handling.
• P234 – Store in original container.

Measures after exposure:

• P305 + P351 + P338 – IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
• P303 + P361 + P353 – IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water.
• P304 + P340 – IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.
• P301 + P330 + P331 – IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting.

Storage:

• P405 – Store locked up.
• P406 – Store in a corrosion-resistant container with a suitable inner lining.

Waste treatment:

• P501 – Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local regulations.

Additional notes:

• Use the product in a well-ventilated area.
• Avoid splashing the product as it may damage skin, eyes and clothing.
• Keep out of reach of children and away from food and drink.
